I am an instructor of human anatomy and physiology for nursing students. I am a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School with a Master's in Contemporary Human Anatomy, a graduate from James Madison University with a bachelor's in Health Sciences, and a minor in biology.
I am a skilled educator who properly utilizes the tools and technology available to enhance learning and retention of information.
I aim to spread my passion and excitement for anatomy to every student I come into contact with. This subject is the cornerstone of medicine, and it is of the utmost importance that future healthcare workers understand it completely and thoroughly.
In March of 2020, I was fortunate enough to spend some time at The Plastinarium in Guben, Germany. While there, I was able to dissect a human trunk, as well as meet the inventor of Plastination, Dr. Gunther Von Hagens.
